Congratulations to Sophomore, Abby Hoos and Junior Alexandra Silva for being appointed to the very first Menifee Youth Advisory Committee.  Abby and Alexandra will serve on the committee for a one year term.  Both students had to complete an extensive application and underwent a three hour interview, which included a hands on project before being appointed to the committee.  Abby said she had spent many hours over the summer perfecting her answers in the application and writing her essay.   Alexandra stated that the process of getting elected to the council was a fun one. At the interview potential students were spilt into teams, they had to do a few assignments to show their sills as  team members.  Alexandra believes they will be able to offer input into many of the city’s decisions and have a great impact on the community while speaking for the youth of Menifee.

We are very proud of the leadership and community service these students are taking on.
