Newport Bridge Construction
The City of Menifee and the Riverside County Transportation Department is advising motorists to be aware of traffic pattern changes around the I‐215 and Newport Road interchange. Demolition of the south bridge will begin as early as Monday, April 4, 2016 with reconstruction of the new bridge to follow immediately after.

Lane Closures and Night Work
In order to safely demolish the bridge, construction activities will require nighttime full‐freeway closures in both directions of the I‐215 on Friday and Saturday nights.
April 4‐8, Monday‐Friday, 8pm‐6am Intermittent lane closures on Newport Road to shift eastbound and westbound traffic onto the north side of the bridge
April 8‐9, Friday‐Saturday, 9pm‐8am Full freeway lane closures on northbound I‐215
April 8‐9, Friday‐Saturday, 9pm‐11pm Intermittent freeway lane closures on southbound I‐215
April 8‐9, Friday‐Saturday, 11pm‐4:30am Full freeway lane closures on southbound I‐215 at Newport Road
April 9‐10, Saturday‐Sunday, 11pm‐7am Intermittent freeway lane closures on northbound I‐215
