Parents and Guardians,

lobbyguard-sraIn an attempt to keep our students and faculty as safe as possible, we are implementing a new visitor sign-in procedure.  We will be using the LOBBYGUARD kiosk located in the front lobby.

Each visitor will need to provide his/her driver’s license or ID card each time they enter the campus.  If you are signing your child in as tardy or out of school for a doctor’s appointment, there will be no need to use the LOBBYGUARD since you will remain in the office area for these procedures.  If you pass through the lobby into the hallway or onto campus for any reason, you must have a name tag from the LOBBYGUARD.

After scanning your driver’s license, the kiosk will do a select background check (Megan’s Law) and print out a sticker with your name and picture on it. The sticker should be placed on your clothes as a nametag, and be worn the entire visit on campus.  The sticker is easily removable and will not damage your clothes.

The system only scans your name, date of birth and photo from your license, nothing else. The system is not connected to other systems like the Department of Motor Vehicles. Any other information connected to your driver’s license or photo ID is not recognized or recorded.
We will begin using the new procedure beginning Thursday,  April 21st.  Our office personnel will be glad to assist you as we all learn a new way to help keep our SRA family safe.
