If your child turns 5 on or between 9/2 and 12/1 your child will be enrolling into Transitional Kindergarten.

More information is posted on our Transitional Kindergarten page.

Our annual lottery will be held the first Friday in March. Due to the large number of names on our lists, our Lottery is done electronically using a random list generating website. All students entered into the lottery are assigned a Lottery ID number (number assignments will be completed by February 22nd).

The random public lottery determines an applicant’s placement on our wait list. Those who request to enter the lottery after the open enrollment deadline are added to the bottom of the lottery wait list in the order they are received. Offers for openings are made in lottery placement/wait list order until the spots are filled or the wait list is exhausted.

Lottery ID numbers are sent out electronically to parents. Please keep your student’s Lottery ID number on file as it will be used to post the Lottery results. Your Lottery ID number will be used for you student every year until they are enrolled and no longer requesting a track transfer. If you have not received a lottery number for your student by February 22nd, please contact enrollment@sra.mn.

At any time when a parent forgets their student’s Lottery ID number they will be able to retrieve the number via our online request form: http://archived.sra.mn/lottery-id.
