I hope your summer is going well! We are diligently preparing student-teacher assignments. We appreciate your patience as we merge into a new student information system. Schedules and student placement information will be coming soon. Please check the website for updates.

New Principal: I am excited to report that we have hired Midge James, current Principal of Herk Bouris Elementary School in Menifee, as our new Principal! I will continue to be the Executive Director (similar to a Superintendent) and relinquish the Principal portion of my position to her. She is well known and loved in this community and we are very happy to have her join our team! Please welcome her to the Santa Rosa Academy family!

 

Dennis Uniforms Sale!: The Dennis Uniform Event will be Monday July 28th from 10am – 2pm at Valley Wide Recreation Center in Menifee. Please see the website Calendar for more details.

 

SRA Special Board Meeting: There will be a special board meeting at 8am on July 31st in the library. Child care will be provided, if needed.

Freshman Orientation: High School Student Leadership is putting together a Freshmen Orientation August 7 at 10:00-11:30 a.m. All freshmen on blue and red tracks, as well as new freshmen are asked to attend. This is a student only event; no parents, please.

The students will be getting a tour of the high school, provided with schedules (if ready), given books/website information (if applicable), meet with available teachers, meet their classmates, participate in ice breaker games and will be informed about upcoming activities, sports and school events. Hope to see your freshman at the orientation!

Athletic Booster Club: The ABC will be voting on leadership positions at the August Athletic Booster Club meeting. They will be voting on a new Vice President, a Volunteer Coordinator, Middle School Liaison, High School Liaison, and Lunch Committee volunteers. If you are interested in being considered for any of these positions, please email Jennifer Lara at jlara@sra.mn.

 

Booster Club: The Santa Rosa Academy Booster Club will be having a Box Top contest at the beginning of the new school year. Please save any Box Tops you can through the summer to kick off the up-coming year. Your contributions help tremendously!

Sports Next Year: If you are interested in a sport for next school year, please email our athletic director, Mr. Shives, at jshives@sra.mn.
