Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,
As we prepare for the next year, we wanted to send a reminder to everyone clarifying dress code items as well as points of emphasis that we will be looking for when students return to campus. Students of all ages will not be allowed to attend classes, EA meetings, or assemblies if they are in violation of the student dress code agreement.
  • Shoes & Socks – Shoes must be black with white accents only.  Outsole can be black or white only (no tan/brown, grey, or any other color).  Socks must be black, white or navy and be free from patterns or logos. Leggings without a closed toe are not permitted.
  • Hair – hairstyles must be traditional and symmetrical. Hair that is short on one side and long on the other will not be permitted.
    • Boys – hair should be neatly groomed not touch the collar of the shirt and should not cover the eyes.
  • Hair color – Hair must be one natural shade. No streaks, rainbow colors or ombre styled hair.
  • Shirts – must be tucked in at all times!  This includes class time, passing periods, breaks, and lunches.
  • Pants/shorts – navy dress slacks can be purchased from anywhere and cannot be tight fitting and may not be folded at the bottom.  Additional options include: All other pants and shorts, colors and options must be purchased through Dennis Uniforms.
  • Undershirts – must be white short sleeve only.
  • Skirts (length) – must be purchased through Dennis Uniforms and should be no more than 3 inches from the top of the knee all the way around.  If a student is dress coded more than twice for a skirt, they will no longer be allowed to wear one. Skorts may not be more than 4 inches from the top of the knee all the way around.
  • Outerwear – all sweatshirts, jackets, etc. must be plain (no logos or writing) and navy (not royal blue, light blue, etc.).  Navy sweaters and sweatshirts may be worn over uniform tops. At no time may a jacket, sweater or sweatshirt be worn without a uniform top underneath. Jean jackets and black coats are no longer acceptable outerwear. Non formal outerwear (hooded sweatshirts, etc) will not be allowed to be worn inside the gym during assemblies.
  • Nail polish – Must be natural colors (light peach, beige, or clear shades)
  • Tights –  Girls may wear black, white or navy tights that are plain and free from pattern.
